Kasoma Tonny is a dedicated audio engineer and specialist with over 18 years of experience in the audio and entertainment industry. He has a diverse background in Audio Production Recording, Mixing, and Mastering both in the studio and live environments. He has developed comprehensive knowledge and skill in all aspects of Audio Post-Production including; dialogue editing, foley, sound design, and re-recording. He has completed various industry certifications, including certifications in Dante Technology and Film Skills coupled with ongoing professional development to ensure he is up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.

Driven by the passion to transform Africa’s sound to hit a global scale and tell African stories from an authentic perspective, Tonny is committed to delivering exceptional audio experiences that meet the specific needs of each project. Whether independent or as a team, He can work closely with clients and the production team to understand their vision and translate it into reality and bring his technical expertise to deliver high-quality audio solutions. With this endeavor, he has devotedly, diligently, and consistently participated in crafting the sound of Award-Winning Movies by renowned Directors from Africa such as Brotherhood, Girl in the Yellow Jumper, Gangs of Lagos, Kony’s Orders from Above, I Don’t Come to You by Chance, and many others.

As the Head of Academy Quad-A Group, He believes in educating the next generation of Audio Engineers. During his time at Quad-A Group, He has developed onboarding and orientation programs for new employees, and customized training programs for specific roles and functions. He has spearheaded the start of the Quad-A Academy Cohort Program which began in 2022 and successfully graduated 10 Students. The programs are focused on creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and personal development. He works closely together with industry experts and industry leaders to develop curriculums that align with the latest technologies and, the company’s strategic objectives and meet the evolving needs of employees, clients, and aspiring engineers.
